Create Geometry From Selected

You can extract surface(s) from selected faces of other surfaces or volumes. To do this:

  1. Select the Geometry Geology workflow tab workflow tab.
  2. Select faces on a surface or volume.
  3. Select the Create Surface(s) From Selected Faces option from the toolbar or Create Geometry From Selected sub-menu in the Geometry menu.
  4. Groups of faces that share edges will be merged into one surface. More than one surface may be generated if one group of faces does not share any edges with other groups of faces.
  5. The extracted surfaces will be added as Geometry entities to the model and can be seen from the Visibility pane.
