Tool Visibility
Drawing tool visibility and display priority can be specified using the following options.
Show All Tools / Hide All Tools
To quickly show or hide all drawing tools which have been added to a view, select Show All Tools or Hide All Tools
from the Tools menu.
Hide Individual Tools
To hide an individual drawing tool, right-click on the tool and select Hide Tool from the popup menu.
To re-display tools which have been hidden, select Show All Tools from the Tools menu.
Send to Back / Bring to Front
If drawing tools overlap, and you wish to display a tool "behind" or "in front of" other tools, right-click on the tool and select Send to Back or Bring to Front
from the popup menu.
Send to Back (Behind Geometry)
By default, drawing tools are displayed in front of the model boundaries and data contours. If you want to display a drawing tool "behind" the model, right-click on the tool and select Send to Back (Behind Geometry) from the popup menu.
To re-display a tool in front of the model, right-click on a visible portion of the tool and select Bring to Front. You can also use the Bring All Tools to Front or Send All Tools to Back options in the Tools menu to display all tools in front or behind the model with one mouse click.
Add Tools in All Slices / Current Slice
Drawing tool visibility can also be specified per slice. By default, drawing tools are visible for all slices i.e. the Add Tools in All Slices option is selected in the Tools menu. If you wish to link drawing tool visibility to a particular slice, select the Add Tools Only in Current Slice option in the Tools menu, switch the view to the desired slice, and then add the drawing tools.
NOTE: the visibility status of drawing tools is saved when you save the file, so you should keep this in mind if you have hidden tools (i.e. hidden tools will not be visible when you re-open the file).
