Import Swedge File

The Import SWedge File option allows users to import an SWedge File into their RocSlope file. The common elements imported from SWedge file can include:

  • Slope
  • Joints
  • Materials Properties
  • Joint Shear Strength Model

To import an SWedge file into RocSlope:

  1. Select File > Import > Import SWedge File Import Swedge
  2. Select an SWedge File (*.swd, *.swd7).
  3. Set the Upper Slope and Slope from SWedge as the slope geometry in RocSlope.
  4. Set the Joint Dip and Dip Direction from SWedge as Measured Joints in RocSlope.
  5. Set the Persistence from SWedge as the Radius in RocSlope.
  6. Set the Joint Shear Strength Model and Waviness from SWedge as Joint Properties and assign the Measured Joint the appropriate Joint Property in RocSlope.
