Import Slide3 File

The Import Slide3 File option allows you to import an Slide3 file into the RocSlope file. The common elements imported from Slide3 file can include:

• Geometry
• Materials (i.e., Saturated Unit Weight, Unsaturated Unit Weight, Water Parameters)
• Groundwater
• Loads
• Supports

To import an Slide3 file:

1. Select: File > Import > Import Slide3 File
2. You will see an Open File dialog, allowing you to select a file from which to import the Slide3 file. Select and open the desired Slide3 file ( supports extension with: *.slide3m2, *.slide3dmodel).
3. After importing the Slide3 file, you should verify that the geometry, materials, supports, etc. have been correctly imported.
