Import RS3 File

The Import RS3 File option allows you to import an RS3 file into the RocSlope file. The common elements imported from RS3 file can include:

• Geometry
• Materials (i.e., Saturated Unit Weight, Unsaturated Unit Weight, Water Parameters)
• Groundwater
• Loads
• Supports

To import an RS3 file:

1. Select: File > Import > Import RS3 File
2. You will see an Open File dialog, allowing you to select a file from which to import the RS3 file. Select and open the desired RS3 file ( supports extension with: *.rs3v3, *.rs3v3model, *.rs3v2, *.rs3dmodel).
3. After importing the RS3 file, you should verify that the geometry, materials, supports, etc. have been correctly imported.
