Exporting Data
Examine2D analysis results can be exported in a variety of different ways for post-processing in other applications. Printouts and screen captures can be customized, simplifying the task of generating high quality reports and presentations.

Export Data: Query
After creating a Query, you can copy the data to the clipboard or export to Excel. For example, after generating a Query graph, select Chart in Excel from the right-click menu; this will startup Excel, export the graph data, and generate the graph in Excel, all with a single mouse click.

Query data can also be exported to the clipboard by right clicking on the query on the model, and selecting Copy Data from the popup menu. This will copy the query data as well as the x,y coordinates of each point on the query.

Export Data: All
You can export all of the analysis data computed at all stress grid points, by selecting the Export Data to Excel option from the Export sub-menu of the File menu. This will startup Excel, and automatically export the x,y location and analysis results at all stress grid points.

Export Data: Info Viewer
The Info Viewer option provides a formatted summary of input data and analysis results, in an easy to browse text format. The information can be copied to the clipboard or saved to a file. The Info Viewer display (font style, size, color, decimal places) can be customized in the Display Options dialog.

Export Data: Images
The Export Image option (in the Export sub-menu of the File menu), allows you to save screen captures directly to one of four image file formats:

JPEG (*.jpg)
Windows Bitmap (*.bmp)
Windows Enhanced Metafile (*.emf)
Windows Metafile (*.wmf)

Images can also be copied to the clipboard using the Copy option in the Edit menu.

Export Data: Printing
Examine2D offers advanced printing features which facilitate the creation of professional looking reports and presentations. With the Page Setup option in the File menu, you can apply customized header and/or footer information to printouts. You can choose from pre-defined templates, or create your own header / footer design, and include your company logo.

Export Data: Export DXF
The model boundaries and stress grid can be saved to a DXF file with the Export DXF option available in the Export sub-menu of the File menu. This allows you to export the geometry of the model to AutoCAD.
