Projections
In the Stereonet Options dialog, the user can select the preferred projection method.
The Stereonet Options Dialog
Dips allows the user to analyze orientation data with two different spherical projections: "equal angle" and "equal area".

Dips also offers two different means of traces of planes and poles to represent a horizontal stereonet projections: "lower hemisphere" and "upper hemisphere".
