Swedge is a quick, interactive and simple to use analysis tool for evaluating the stability of surface wedges in rock slopes, defined by two intersecting discontinuity planes, the slope surface and an optional tension crack.
New Users
If you are a new user of Swedge, the first thing you should do is complete the Quick Start Tutorial, which you will find on the Swedge Tutorials page.
Then go through tutorials 2 to 6 for an introduction to the major modeling and analysis features in Swedge.
For reference information on all of the program options, use the Table of Contents, Index or Search features in this Help system.
