This tutorial will demonstrate how to model a multi-material slope with a weak layer. A water table is used to model pore pressure, and a uniform distributed load is applied at the crest of the slope. A grid search for circular slip surfaces will be performed in order to locate the circular slip surface with the minimum safety factor.
