Slide Model > General Features
If you are performing a Groundwater Analysis, the SLIDE Model program will have two different analysis modes:
Slope Stability Analysis
Groundwater Analysis
The Analysis Mode can be selected from the toolbar, the Analysis menu, or the right-click menu.

Analysis Mode option in toolbar
When you switch analysis modes, the menus and toolbars will change, so that the appropriate modeling options will be available.
NOTE:
The Analysis Mode option is only enabled, if you are performing a Groundwater Analysis. This means that the Groundwater Method = Finite Element Analysis in Project Settings.
The Analysis Mode option is intended to simplify the modeling procedure, if you are performing a Groundwater Analysis, by separating the Groundwater MODEL, COMPUTE and INTERPRET, from the Slope Stability MODEL, COMPUTE and INTERPRET. See the Groundwater Overview topic for details about Groundwater Analysis with SLIDE.
If you are NOT performing a Groundwater Analysis (i.e. the Groundwater Method in Project Settings = Water Surfaces, Ru Coefficients or Water Pressure Grid), then the Analysis Mode option will not be applicable. The SLIDE Model program will automatically be in Slope Stability analysis mode, in this case. The Analysis Mode option will NOT appear in the toolbar.
