Query Properties

The Query Properties option allows you to edit the properties of an existing query. You can edit:

• the vertical spacing of analysis points along a Point Query

• the vertical or horizontal spacing of analysis points along a Line Query

To edit query properties:

1. Select Query Properties from the Query menu.

2. In the Plan View, use the mouse to select the Point Query or Line Query you would like to edit. You may only select one query.

3. When you have selected the query, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection.

4. You will see the Query Point or Query Line dialog, in which you can edit the query properties.

Right Click Shortcut

The Query Properties option is also available as a right-click shortcut. This is actually the most convenient way to use Query Properties, because you do not have to go through Steps 1-3 (above), you simply right-click on a Point Query or Line Query, and select Query Properties from the popup menu.

NOTE: the Query Properties right-click shortcut is available in both the Plan View and 3D View.
