Settle3D > General Features
The Plan/3D View is the main modeling and results viewing screen in Settle3D. The Plan/3D View is a two-part, split screen view which displays:
a 2-dimensional Plan View of the model on the left
a 3-dimensional view of the model on the right
The Plan/3D View is displayed by default when you begin creating a new model, or when you open an existing Settle3D file.
If you are currently viewing another view (e.g. Info Viewer), the Plan/3D View can be accessed at any time by selecting Plan/3D View from the toolbar or the View menu.
Plan View
The Plan View (i.e. the left hand pane of the Plan/3D View) is the view in which the geometry of the model is defined and edited. See the Plan View topic for details.
3D View
The 3D View (i.e. the right hand pane of the Plan/3D View) presents a 3-dimensional display of the model and analysis results. See the 3D View topic for details.
NOTE: the relative size of the Plan View and 3D View can be adjusted in various ways, see the Resize Views topic for details.
