Material Properties Overview

In Settle3D version 1.0, it is assumed that all soil layers are horizontal and continuous.

To define the material properties and layering of your model:

1. Define the material properties in the Soil Properties dialog.

2. Define the sequence of soil layers in the Soil Layers dialog.

NOTE: it is expected that future versions of the program will allow non-horizontal soil layers and more generalized soil geometry.
