Select Line
from the toolbar or the Add
Tool sub-menu of the Tools
menu.
Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.

The Line option allows you to add a line between any two points on the Plan View. To add a Line:
Select Line
from the toolbar or the Add
Tool sub-menu of the Tools
menu.
Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.
NOTE: the Snap options can be used to snap exactly to specific points or objects.
As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location.
Enter the second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Line will be added to the view.
