The Edit Coordinates option allows you to view or edit the coordinates of loads or excavations in a convenient mini-spreadsheet.
NOTE:
Edit Coordinates is primarily for use with polygonal loads or excavations.
The coordinates of rectangular or circular loads cannot be edited with the Edit Coordinates option, however, you can view / copy the coordinates.
The coordinates of embankment loads cannot be viewed or edited with Edit Coordinates.
To use Edit Coordinates:
Select Edit Coordinates from the Edit sub-menu of the Loads menu.
In the Plan View, use the mouse to select the load or excavation you would like to edit. You may only select one load or excavation.
When you have selected the load / excavation, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection.
You will see the Edit Coordinates dialog, which will display the x,y coordinates of the selected load / excavation in a mini-spreadsheet. In this dialog, you can enter or edit coordinates as required. See the Coordinate Table section in the Entering Coordinates topic for more details.
Right Click Shortcut
The Edit Coordinates option is also available as a right-click shortcut. This is actually the most convenient way to use Edit Coordinates, because you do not have to go through Steps 1-3 (above), you simply right-click on a load, and select Edit Coordinates from the popup menu.
NOTE: the Edit Coordinates right-click shortcut is available in both the Plan View and 3D View.
