The Tunnel
and Rock Parameters dialog allows you to define the tunnel and
rock properties for your RocSupport
model. To access this option, select Tunnel Parameters
from
the toolbar or the Analysis menu.
The following parameters are entered in the Tunnel and Rock Parameters dialog:
The appearance and required input data for the Tunnel and Rock Parameters dialog, will depend on the Solution Method and Analysis Type selected in Project Settings:
The Strength Properties which are required will depend on the Solution Method you have selected in Project Settings (Duncan Fama or Carranza-Torres).
If you are carrying out a Probabilistic Analysis, then the Tunnel and Rock Parameters dialog will be presented in a grid format, which simplifies the input of statistical parameters for the variables
When you are finished entering data click on the Apply button to accept changes and view results. Clicking on the Close button, without selecting Apply, will close the dialog without applying changes.
Minimizing / Maximizing the Dialog
If the dialog obstructs your view, you
can move it to the side or minimize it by clicking on the "Minimize"
button. While minimized, only the title bar of the dialog
is visible on the screen. To maximize it again, click on the same button,
which will now show an arrow pointing down
. Clicking on
the
button will close the dialog without applying changes.
You can also minimize or maximize the dialog by double-clicking on the
title bar of the dialog.
