The RocProp database can be searched according to the following information:
Country, feature name, rock type, notes
Type of test data (compression, tensile, Hoek, velocity, triaxial)
Geographical location (latitude, longitude and search radius)
The search options are found in the RocProp sidebar as shown below.

Search words are typed into the edit box at the top of the sidebar, and standard searching features are implemented. For example:
Single or multiple search words can be entered
Wildcards (* character) can be used to match partial words (e.g. gran* to find granite, granodiorite, etc).
Double quotes can be used to search for exact phrases of multiple words
If multiple words are entered, you can search for records with ALL of the words or ANY of the words
To carry out a search, select the Search button and all records matching your search requirements will be displayed in the Search Results view at the right of the screen.
Search by Location and Radius
To search by geographical coordinates, select the Limit Search to Area checkbox, and enter latitude, longitude and search radius. This will return only records within the specified search radius (note: the Country search checkbox is disabled if you use this option).

Search Results View
If your search is successful, the results are displayed in the Search Results View at the right of the screen, as shown below. Multiple pages of results can be easily browsed by selecting a page number or the back/forward browse buttons at the bottom of the Search Results View.
