In this tutorial, two different methods of modeling the staged drawdown of ponded water against a slope are examined, and an SSR slope stability analysis is performed. The drawdown is implemented in two ways: 1) by lowering the water table, and 2) by running a finite element seepage analysis with changing boundary conditions.
