The Show Boundary Conditions
option, in the toolbar or the Groundwater
menu, acts as a master toggle to switch the display between Groundwater
Boundary conditions and Stress Analysis Boundary Conditions.
Show Boundary Conditions is only applicable if the Groundwater Method = Finite Element Analysis.
If Show Boundary Conditions is selected, then only Groundwater Boundary conditions are displayed (e.g. Total Head, Nodal Flow, Infiltration etc).
If Show Boundary Conditions is NOT selected, then only Stress Analysis Boundary conditions are displayed (e.g. restraints, loads etc).
Automatic Display of Boundary Conditions
Groundwater boundary conditions are automatically displayed when you select the Set Boundary Conditions option to define hydraulic boundary conditions. Stress analysis boundary conditions will automatically be hidden, if they were previously displayed.
Stress analysis boundary conditions are automatically displayed when you are defining restraints, loads etc. Groundwater boundary conditions will automatically be hidden if they were previously displayed.
