File Types for Lines Import
Contour or flow lines can be imported from the following Phase2 file types:
.fez - a .fez file is a zipped (compressed) file which contains all Phase2 model and analysis data. Since Phase2 version 7, the .fez file also contains auxiliary files such as the .p2i file used to store drawing tools, display settings and other information. When you import lines from a .fez file, you are actually importing the lines from a .p2i file contained within the .fez file.
.p2i - this is the extension used for settings files created in the Phase2 Interpret program (version 7). A .p2i file is used to store drawing tools, queries, lines, display settings and other information. If you save your Phase2 files using the compressed (.fez) file format, then normally you will not see the .p2i files, since they are contained within the .fez file. If you save your Phase2 files in uncompressed (.fea) format, then the .p2i files will be visible in your file directory. A .p2i file can also be created with the Export Lines option.
.plf - this is the extension used for lines files created in version 6 of the Phase2 Interpret program. In Phase2 version 6, the .plf files were NOT contained within the .fez file, therefore they will be visible in your file directory even if you saved your Phase2 (version 6) files using the .fez (compressed) format.
