Phase2 is a 2-dimensional elasto-plastic finite element program for calculating stresses and displacements around underground openings, and can be used to solve a wide range of mining, geotechnical and civil engineering problems.

New Users
If you are a new user of Phase2, the first thing you should do is complete the Quick Start Tutorial, which you will find on the Phase2 Tutorials page.
It is highly recommended that you also go through tutorials 2 to 4 for an introduction to many of the basic modeling and data interpretation concepts in Phase2.
Other tutorials provide guidance for more specific analysis features of Phase2. It is recommended that you go through as many of the tutorials as possible. This is the best way to get acquainted with the many different capabilities of Phase2.
