Field Stress Type

Under the General tab in the Project Settings dialog, you can choose the Field Stress Type. There are two options available:

• Constant

• Gravitational

The Field Stress defines the in-situ stress state in the rock mass (or soil), prior to excavation.

You can also select the Field Stress Type using the Field Stress button in the Sidebar.

The actual values of the Field Stress parameters are entered in the Sidebar.
