Export Data Overview

Analysis results can be exported directly to Excel for post-processing. You can export the raw data at all stress grid points, or you can export the data from a query.

The following options are available for exporting data from Examine2D.

Export Data to Excel

You can export the raw analysis data at all stress grid points, by selecting the Export Data to Excel option from the Export sub-menu of the File menu. This will startup Microsoft Excel, and automatically export the x,y location of all stress grid points, and the raw analysis data computed at the stress grid points.

Chart in Excel

If you are viewing a graph of query data in Examine2D, you can automatically export the raw query data and the graph, by selecting Chart in Excel from the right-click menu or the File menu. This will startup Microsoft Excel, and export the raw graph data, and generate the graph, in Excel.

Export Image

Images of the model can be exported to .bmp, .jpg, .emf or .wmf files, by selecting Export Image from the Export sub-menu of the File menu.
